Motlow State is increasing student access to Wi-Fi and adding a physical paperwork Dropbox at its Fayetteville campus. Both additions come from an advanced collaboration between the College's academic and student success leaders to increase retention and graduation.
Motlow State's Automation & Robotics Training Center (ARTC) is partnering with the WESCO's Nashville branch to provide industry certifications in Siemens TIA, as well as customized training applications.
Motlow State student Julie Newton Anderson, from Winchester, received the Trustmark Workforce Development Scholarship; a $200 scholarship awarded to 25 members of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Recipients plan to enter the workforce upon the completion of an associate degree or certification.
Motlow State Community College has partnered with TCAT-Murfreesboro to create a smooth transfer process for students studying Nursing, Cyber Defense, Business Office, and Mechatronics. Transfer students from TCAT - Murfreesboro to Motlow may also receive credit for prior learning and certifications.
