Like so many other nonprofits, the Motlow College Foundation recently had to postpone its main fundraising event of the year, the Annual Gala, due to the pandemic. Instead of canceling, the Foundation staff and Board of Trustees seized the opportunity to shift the event online and hosted its first-ever Virtual Gala.
My name is Paul Guerin, and I grew up in Fayetteville, Tennessee, and attended Lincoln County High School. My first educational exposure to Motlow State was in a dual enrollment pre-calculus class as a high school senior. I immediately liked Motlow.
Motlow provided me a competitive advantage through the Dual Enrollment program, jumpstarting an educational journey that continues today.
Motlow is more than a college - it is a family. My Motlow experience was terrific. Motlow set the foundation for my success and supports me to this day as I serve as Principal at LaVergne Middle School. Motlow will always hold a special place in my heart.
Overwhelming excitement and anxiety filled me when I embarked on my post-secondary educational journey at Motlow.
