Motlow State Student and Army Veteran Sergeant Adam Creason recently received the Military Veterans Challenge Coin from Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) Chancellor Flora Tydings. Motlow President Michael Torrence and Veteran Affairs Program Manager Clarice Griffin nominated Sgt. Creason for this recognition due to his exemplary academic performance and his noble service in the armed forces.

Motlow State Community College is one of 16 schools recently welcomed into a partnership with OpenStax. The organization is a non-profit educational initiative started by Rice University in Texas to provide students with free or low-cost textbooks.
Motlow State Community College now offers an option for those who want to up-skill or change careers through enhanced educational delivery options. Through a partnership with Coursera, Motlow has thousands of credentials available for anyone, regardless of educational background, to use.
A group from Motlow State Community College recently attended the District 2 National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) conference. Motlow entered assets from various marketing campaigns and projects and returned with gold, silver, and bronze awards.
