    Newly-hired Assistant Director of Student Success Kareem Kenney will double as the Interim Head Coach for the women's basketball team at Motlow State for the 2024-2025 season. Kenney comes to Motlow with approximately 17 years of coaching experience and is excited to be a part of the program's growth.

    New Motlow State Soccer Season Kicks Off

    Kick off the new schoolyear by visiting Motlow's Moore County campus and watching our nationally-ranked women's soccer team. Since the team's inception in 2017, the team has been named conference champions four times under the leadership of Coach Andy Lyon. In addition to balancing athletics and academics, the team gives back to charity, hosts soccer camps for children, and travels to Belize to promote women's soccer and donate items to schoolchildren.

    Motlow State's Moore County Campus plans to host the College's first 5k race on September 21. The event is spearheaded by Lynchburg native and Motlow Athletic Director Ross Fanning. He is excited to continue growing the Motlow athletics program and finding ways to engage with the surrounding communities.

    Nissan Group Aces Education with Motlow

    Five Nissan employees are now Motlow State students through a collaboration between Nissan's Decherd Plant and Motlow's Adult College Express (ACE) program. Employees Calvin Short, Richard Jones, Jared Lancer, Anthony Howard, and Kristan Crosby began the program over the summer of 2024 and will continue with other Nissan employees in the fall.
