Classes meet Fridays from 5:00 to 9:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Weekend College offers general education courses. Complete an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in General Studies by taking all classes offered during the Weekend College Program.
Weekend College at Motlow State is designed to fit the needs of a diverse student population. We want to serve all students with inclusive excellence. The Weekend College Faculty are a dedicated, committed, and prepared group of academicians who understand the diverse schedules and unique needs of today’s students.

Classes are creative, innovative, exciting, empowering, and informative. Students in Motlow’s Weekend College Program form a cohesive cohort with their classmates. Students and faculty bond as family. Weekend College classes meet on Fridays and Saturdays inside the Hiatt-Spivey Center on Motlow’s Smyrna Campus.
Weekend College is for busy people with other commitments such as work, family, etc., who want to advance their careers with a college degree. All it takes is commitment and dedication to reach the goal of completing a college degree. The Weekend College Program is open to all. If you are looking for an exciting classroom experience that will be challenging, impactful, empowering, and completed in a short time frame, this program is for you.
Many Weekend College class sizes are smaller than some regular college classes and students find more one-on-one opportunities to connect with professors.
