Automation and Robotics Training Center (ARTC)

We offer two options for training in automation and robotics:

Motlow State is the first 2-year college in Tennessee to offer specialized training in both mechatronics and robotics. The College is home to a state-of-the-art Automation & Robotics Training Center in McMinnville, where it offers a 2-year Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) Mechatronics degree with a concentration in Robotics.

There are opportunities to earn a certificate in Robotics in just two semesters that can lead to jobs starting at $40,000 up to $60,000 per year, plus benefits (depending on the type of certification).

Motlow State's Robotics program trains and certifies students in design, operation, and maintenance of industrial robots to meet industry standards. There are more than 7,000 robots already in operation within 70 miles of Warren County, and the number of robots and industries integrating robots grows daily.

There is a shortage of qualified Robotics workers and trained robot operators throughout Tennessee and across the nation. Take advantage of this new opportunity for a satisfying career in Robotics with an A.A.S. degree, or enter the job market quickly through short-term Robotics certification programs that do not require a degree.
