Program Description

  • training in the development of articulate speech
  • the development of skills for effectively reading aloud and for public speaking
  • practices for effective story-telling
  • all phases of play production from casting to costuming and directing
  • courses that prepare you for bachelor's degree completion at any one of Tennessee's colleges or universities

Practical Experience

Students will be provided opportunities to develop skills in the following areas:

  • specific voice training and diction
  • theatre production - casting, staging, costuming, make-up, lighting and direction
