Career Opportunities and Earnings Possibilities

Statistics show that jobs in the area of mathematics are growing at a rate higher than many other career areas. Earnings for math-related careers are some of the highest in our nation with a salary range of $30,000 - $100,000+ annually. Many careers which involve intense mathematics do require further education; however, so many careers can develop through degrees in mathematics. Some of the more recognized jobs, like teaching, insurance agents, insurance claims adjusters, and some banking jobs can be pursued at entry-level. Other careers, like mathematicians, actuaries, statisticians and professional financial careers may require higher levels of education and experience.
