Strategic Planning

Motlow State Community College operates on a five-year planning cycle prescribed by the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR). The current TBR Strategic Plan extends for a five-year period from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2015.

Motlow's Strategic Planning and Institutional Effectiveness Committee is composed of faculty, staff, students, and community representation. Development of the college's strategic plan includes a review of the mission statement and establishing strategic goals. Institutions are required to submit goals to address the four TBR priorities (leadership, access, quality, and resourcefulness). Annual reports are submitted to the governing board to demonstrate progress toward achieving the institution's goals.
