Request for Clinical Day
Soon the faculty will be working on assigning all students to a clinical group. Clinicals and campus labs will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you have a Tuesday clinical, you will be in campus lab on Thursday, and vice versa. Clinical days typically start around 6:30 am. If you have a particular need for your clinical to be on a Tuesday or a Thursday, please email Amy Holder at aholder@mscc.edu by July 13th.
Do not email about preferences unless there is a compelling reason that you need one day over another. Because we start clinical early in the semester, there will be little time for changing days and sites after the semester begins. We will also look at your other scheduled classes to be sure there are no conflicts. Thanks for your help with this.
Motlow Email Account
Please note that you should be checking your Motlow email account on a regular basis. It is used by the school to send important information to you. You will also be receiving information from the nursing faculty and we will be assuming that you are getting this information.
Stethoscopes and Supplies Ordered through Student Nurse Association
If you ordered a stethoscope or other clinical supply items when you were on campus for orientation in May, they will be distributed to you on the first day of class.
