10/22: Local Veteran Brings 'Chosin' Documentary to Motlow College
To honor Korean War veterans, Motlow College is hosting a screening of the documentary "Chosin." The documentary is about the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, an epic battle that took place in North Korea in November, 1950.

Zach Moyers, a first-year student at Motlow College, is the recipient of the Shoney's Scholarship, which is funded by Dan and Pattie Holt, owners of Shoney's in Fayetteville. Moyers graduated from Lincoln County High School this spring and is studying political science at Motlow.

09/21: Vinson Receives Scholarship at Motlow College
Miranda Vinson, a nursing student at Motlow College, thought she was going to have to drop out of school because of financial difficulties. Then just four days before her tuition was due for the fall semester, she received great news. She was named the recipient of a scholarship from the Motlow College Ladies Philanthropic Society.

The Adult College Express (ACE) program at Motlow College is designed to provide educational opportunities for the working adult and will be the topic of an informational meeting to be held at Motlow's Fayetteville Center Tuesday, July 24 at 5 p.m.
