International Society of Jack Daniels Collectors donates to Motlow College Foundation

Oct. 31, 2014

The International Society of Jack Daniels Collectors (ISJDC) recently continued its support of Motlow College dual enrollment students by making a donation to the Motlow College Foundation Gap Scholarship fund.

The International Society of Jack Daniels Collectors recently made a donation to the Motlow College Foundation in support of dual enrollment students through the Gap Scholarship fund. Front row from left: Michelle Gabel, Jason Pogar, Joe Acampora, Teri Acampora, Monique Dondling and Daryl Welch, chair of the Motlow College Foundation Board of Trustees. Middle row: Hilda Turnstill, vice president of business affairs at Motlow, Tom Sullivan, Tim Klepper, Kelly Klepper and Gaston Dondlinger. Back row: Gary Gabel and Margaret Daniel.
'Gap' funding helps with the cost of tuition and fees not covered by the Hope Lottery Scholarship for high school students taking college-level courses and earning both high school and college credit.

The donation reflects ISJDC's continued support for Moore County High School dual enrollment students. This is the third consecutive year the society has made a donation to the Motlow College Foundation.

According to ISJDC's website, ISJDC is a non-profit organization originally formed by a small handful of dedicated collectors as a vehicle to promote the passion for "all things Jack" while contributing to the Lynchburg/Moore County community in ways that make a difference in the lives of its residents.
