International Society of Jack Daniels Collectors continues support for Motlow College Foundation
Oct. 28, 2015The International Society of Jack Daniels Collectors, Inc. (ISJDC) recently continued its support of Motlow College dual enrollment students by making a $2,000 donation to the Motlow College Foundation Gap Scholarship fund.
'Gap' funding helps with the cost of tuition and fees not covered by the Hope Lottery Scholarship for high school students taking college-level courses and earning both high school and college credit.
The donation reflects ISJDC's continued support for Moore County High School dual enrollment students. This is the fourth consecutive year the society has made a donation to the Motlow College Foundation.
According to ISJDC's website, ISJDC is a non-profit organization originally formed by a small handful of dedicated collectors as a vehicle to promote the passion for "all things Jack" while contributing to the Lynchburg/Moore County community in ways that make a difference in the lives of its residents.
