Service Scholarships allow Motlow students to save money while attending college

October 7, 2013

Having the opportunity to attend college close to home is a great way to save money. This fall, 18 Motlow College students attending the Fayetteville Center also saved money by applying for and being awarded a Motlow academic service scholarship.

Eighteen students at Motlow College's Fayetteville Center received academic service scholarships this fall. Students are awarded Motlow College academic service scholarships based on their ACT scores and high school grade point averages. Leadership experience and extra-curricular activities are also taken into consideration when awarding scholarships.

If the student maintains the required GPA throughout their time at Motlow, they may also be eligible for transfer scholarships to the four-year institution they choose to attend following graduation from Motlow.

Lincoln County, Huntland and Hazel Green, Ala. high schools, along with Riverside Christian Academy, are each represented among the Fayetteville Center academic service scholarship students.
