Motlow Ladies' Philanthropic Society will host Fall Coffee Oct. 13 at Fayetteville CenterSept. 23, 2014
The Motlow Ladies Philanthropic Society (MLPS) will host its annual Fall Coffee at the Fayetteville Center on Monday, Oct. 13, at 10:00 am.
MLPS is a group of women dedicated to making a difference in the lives of other women, with the main focus being on the non-traditional (23 years and over) student in need of financial assistance. Donations aid women who do not qualify for the HOPE scholarship and who rarely meet federal aid requirements.
Membership is made up of ladies who donate at least $100 per year.
"I'm sure we have all known someone who just needed a bit of financial help to make their dream of getting an education become a reality," said Jan Rogers, director of advancement at Motlow College. "Please join us to help change the lives of deserving students."
The Motlow Ladies' Philanthropic Society has 123 members who have donated over $94,000 for scholarships and student support in the past five years.
Anyone wishing to attend the Fall Coffee or join the MLPS may reach Phyllis Daniel at 931-393-1543 or email@example.com.
