Motlow College schedules dates for GED testSeptember 20, 2013
A high school diploma remains the primary ticket to many entry-level jobs. In most cases, it's also the prerequisite for advancement in employment, occupational training and postsecondary education.
The General Educational Development (GED) credential provides adults with the opportunity to grow, whether it is through further education, enhanced employment or stature within the community.
Motlow College will administer the GED test several times before the end of the year.
The five-part test will be given from 7:20 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 8 and 22, Nov. 12, 14, and 19 and Dec. 4 and 5. The test will be administered in Crouch Center room 1046 on the college's Moore County campus.
Examinees are required to register for the test and are assigned test dates according to availability. Applicants should complete the GED application, enclose a check/money order for $50.00, and attach a recent photo and a notarized copy of the Official Practice Test and Eligibility for Enrollment Form if applicable.
