Motlow brings College Message to Franke Foodservice in FayettevilleJuly 14, 2015
It's never too late to advance your career opportunities by attending college. Motlow College representative recently presented that message to over 100 employees of Franke Foodservice in Fayetteville.
Sid Hill, academic specialist at Motlow College, spoke to employees of Franke Foodservice of Fayetteville recently. Hill, along with Debra Smith, assistant director of student services for the Fayetteville Center, and Laura Jent, director of human resources at Motlow, provided information about the College in an effort to recruit non-traditional students. According to Hill, the goal of the presentation was to recruit non-traditional working adults to study at Motlow. College representatives explained how to apply for Motlow and discussed program options and how to receive assistance with financial aid.
"The event was a great success," said Hill. "I'm happy to see interest from several of the employees."
Each participant received an informational packet and Motlow marketing materials. John Smith, vice president of operations at Franke, and Shirley Staples, human resources business partner, provided the facilitators with a venue and technical assistance to ensure that the event was a success.
"Franke has always been a supporter of the community and Motlow College," said Debra Smith.
"I was impressed with the company's desire to provide educational opportunities to its employees," added Jent.
