Motlow State theatre students present "Much Ado About Nothing" April 6-8

LYNCHBURG, TN (April 3, 2017) — Motlow State Community College theatre students will present a musical comedy, "Much Ado About Nothing", beginning Thursday., April 6, in Powers Auditorium inside Eoff Hall on the Moore County campus.

The play is set in California during the 1800's, and will run Apr. 6, 7, and 8, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for senior adults and high school and middle school students, and $1 for elementary school students and Motlow State students. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or from Bobbie Spratlin in Simon Hall Room 215 on the Moore County campus.

Cast members for the Motlow production include: Don Pedro - Colton Hargrove, Don John - David Lynch, Claudio - Aaron Gaines, Benedick - Michael Higdon. Leonato - Chad Lynch, Antonio - Micha Austin, Conrade - Jachlyne Dobbs, Borachio - Trevor Ivey-Bodman, Friar Francis - Henry Greer, Dogberry - Sammy Delovich, Verges - Moody Qattea, Sexton - Ashley Statum, Messenger - Cara Brazelton, Watchman #1 - Steven Marshall, Watchman #2 - Brianna Blankenship, Hero - Delaina Black, Beatrice - Angel Jones, Margaret - Ashley Reece, Ursula - Sierra Coffee, Handmaiden - Daisy Sells, and Balthasar - Thomas Heath.

The production is directed by Emily Seal, assistant professor of speech and theatre, with support from Jamie Demonbreum - stage manager, Maddy Fralie - assistant costumer, Amanda Carson - assistant costumer, Sabrina Enix - props master, Front of House - Bobbie Spratlin, and the set designer is Kurt Krauss.
