Motlow State to close for Labor Day
Motlow State Community College will be closed from Saturday - Monday, Sept. 3 - 5, for the Labor Day holiday according to college officials.
Motlow State recognizes Tennessee Promise/Tennessee Reconnect students with Welcome Week celebration
Motlow State Community College will offer a "sunny" welcome to both new and returning Tennessee Promise and Tennessee Reconnect students arriving on campus beginning next week with a special celebration at each of the Motlow State Moore County, Fayetteville, McMinnville and Smyrna campuses.
Lane Yoder named Director of Motlow College Foundation
Dr. Anthony Kinkel, president of Motlow State Community College, recently announced that Lane Yoder of Tullahoma has been selected as the director of the Motlow College Foundation.
Motlow State to offer ACT preparation course at Moore County campus beginning Sept. 12
Area high school students planning to take the ACT can prepare for the test by enrolling in an ACT preparation class at Motlow State Community College's Moore County campus. Classes will meet each Monday on Sept. 12, 19, 26, Oct. 3, and 10, from 6-8:30 p.m. in Simon Hall, room 132.
Motlow State student art exhibit on display at Moore County campus through September
The Motlow State Community College fine art department is featuring a two-part exhibition on the Moore County campus showcasing work by this summer's Motlow State student artists. The public is invited to view the art work in both the Clayton-Glass Library and the Marcum Technology Center.

High School Equivalency Test to be Administered by Motlow State throughout 2016
Motlow State Community College will administer the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET™) several times throughout the remainder of 2016. Test locations will be in Winchester and on the Motlow State Fayetteville, Smyrna and Moore County campuses.
Fall semester application deadline for Motlow State is August 15
Students planning on attending Motlow State Community College this fall must submit an application for admission or readmission by Aug. 15, according to Shawn Gilbreath, assistant director of admissions and records at Motlow State.

Motlow State schedules Residual ACT test four times before fall semester
Motlow State Community College will administer the complete Residual ACT Assessment Test on July 20, July 29, and Aug. 5, from 8:30 a.m. - noon; and on Aug. 4, from 12:30 - 4 p.m. The test will be administered in room 1043 of the Crouch Center on the Moore County campus.
Motlow State seeks Adjunct Faculty members through Open House July 28
Due to the massive increase in full-time student enrollment this fall, Motlow State Community College is inviting anyone interested in potentially becoming an adjunct faculty member to attend an Open House on Thursday, July 28, at 5 p.m., on the Smyrna campus at 5002 Motlow College Blvd.
Motlow State Foundation recognizes Jack Daniel Distillery for support
Jack Daniel Distillery received the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Philanthropy at the recent biannual meeting of the Motlow State Community College Foundation Board of Trustees. The meeting was held on the Motlow Moore County campus.
