The next two dates to take the General Educational Development (GED) test at Motlow College are June 13 and July 26. The five-part test will be given from 7:20 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in room 1043 of the Crouch Center on the Moore County campus.

The Motlow College class of 2012 has more male nursing students than the last three years combined. Nationally, men make up only 13 percent of all new nursing students, compared to Motlow's 22.5 percent this year.

While visions of "The Masters" are still fresh in the minds of golfers, it's time for local teams to sign up for the 21st Annual Charles Gleghorn Invitational Golf Tournament to be held May 18 at the Fayetteville Golf and Country Club. The tournament is sponsored by the Bank of Lincoln County and benefits the Motlow College Foundation.

The Motlow College music department will present their 19th annual spring concert on April 19th in Powers Auditorium of Eoff Hall at 7 p.m. The concert, under the direction of Thomas Breece, assistant professor of music, is open to the public and there is no admission charge.
