Welcome to Motlow State Community College's McMinnville Center. We are here to serve the residents of Warren, White, Van Buren, Cannon, and DeKalb counties. Motlow's McMinnville Center offers a quality education that allows students to easily transfer to a university of their choice, or to complete a two year associate of applied science degree or certificate program and begin work immediately. You will see that our class schedules meet your needs with classes being offered during the day, evenings, or online.
Our focus is on student success. Our friendly office staff is always available for information and support. Just drop by the front office at any time when you have a question; we will be glad to help you get it resolved. The instructors will know you by name and are committed to helping you be successful. Small classes offer a chance to ask questions and receive individualized attention. To further support your academic goals, we offer an online help lab at the beginning of the semester and Math and Writing labs throughout the semester. We have a very active Student Government Association and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society if you would like to become more involved in extracurricular activities.
We constantly strive to offer new, innovative programs of higher education to our community. The following are some examples of this commitment:
- 2+2 Program in Elementary Education
a partnership with Tennessee Technological University and Motlow College to offer courses for K-6 elementary school teachers to complete their junior and senior years at the McMinnville Center and earn their bachelors degree through Tennessee Technological University.
- ACE Program
an adult college express program for working adults. This is an accelerated degree program with additional admissions requirements. Please visit www.mscc.edu/ace for additional information
- Mechatronics Program
courses allow students the opportunity not only to receive a certificate or associate of applied science degree, but they can also receive an international certification from the Siemens Corporation. Students can continue their education at MTSU and earn a bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering.
- Nursing Program
McMinnville Center students accepted into our nursing program can attend nursing classes at the McMinnville Center
We are proud to be part of the new TN Promise program. This program will relieve some of the financial burden associated with attending college. It will allow students to focus on learning, not just how to pay for it.
At the McMinnville Center, we believe that our changing workplace demands post-secondary education. We hope you will become a part of the Motlow family and experience MyMotlow, My Future for yourself.
