Checking Out and Downloading eAudiobooks

 

Go to the library’s database page http://www.mscc.edu/library/online.html

 

(You may access the audiobooks through the library catalog, as well)

 

Scroll down to netLibrary and click on the database.

 

If you are accessing the Internet from a non-Motlow site, you will be prompted to enter a username and password.  Your username and password are the same as your Motlow email username and password.

 

In order to listen to eAudiobooks and to download them to your PC/laptop for listening or transfer to CD or MP3 players, you must set up your netLibrary account if  you have not done so previously. 

 

Click on Create a Free Account located in the upper left corner of the netLibrary homepage.

 

To browse the eAudiobook collection, click on eAudiobook collection or browse by subject.  Here a variety of genres and subjects are listed.

 

You may search by author and title, also by entering author, title, or keyword in Basic Search.  There are over 1,200 eAudiobooks in Motlow’s collection.

 

Check Out

 

  1. From search results, click on Download This Audiobook.
  2. Select a download quality:
    1. CD Quality (for high-speed connections) will allow transfer to your PC and to a device.
    2. Radio Quality (for dialup connections) will allow transfer to computer only.
  3. You will be prompted to open or save the audiobook to your desktop. (We recommend that you use the Save eAudiobook option.)
  4. After downloading, open the audiobook in Windows Media to acquire the license.
  5. To download from your PC to a portable device, follow the Media Player instructions..
