The Sundquist Center – A Training Resource for Lincoln County Area

The Don Sundquist Center of Advanced Technologies, located adjacent to the Fayetteville Center of Motlow College, brings a new dimension of training opportunities to the Lincoln County Area. The facility is equipped with the latest classroom technology for instructional delivery, including multimedia teaching stations, industrial technology labs, and distance learning capability.
In meeting the goal to provide workforce development opportunities, the Sundquist Center currently offers a variety of college credit and non-credit courses.
The center is an official training site for the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration (TOSHA). Through collaboration with the Shelbyville Tennessee Technology Center, a License Practical Nursing program and Surgical Technician program are also being conducted at the center.
Classroom space is available on a per diem rental basis at the Sundquist Center. Fully equipped classrooms rent for $150.00 daily for company meetings or company-conducted training. For full-day classes/meetings, catering services are available through local vendors. Sundquist Center staff will assist in coordinating catering services. Special business and industry training at the Sundquist Center is coordinated through Motlow’s Economic and Community Development department. Workshops, classes, and seminars can be customized to the training needs of individual companies and clients.
