The Education Department at Motlow College is the place to get started -- with quality educational opportunities available for students seeking careers in areas of instruction and care from infants and toddlers to preschoolers and elementary students. The Education Department offers programs in Early Childhood Education, Special Education (Modified K-12), Secondary Education in Mathematics and a degree program for Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Regardless of which program of study you choose, you can be sure that the faculty and staff of the Education Department strive to prepare students for a lifetime of learning and teaching.
Motlow's Education programs are transferrable to other four-year colleges and universities. Motlow is also proud to offer the very convenient 2+2 program in Elementary Education (K-6) offered in partnership with Tennessee Technological University. The 2+2 program allows students to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Tennessee Technological University while attending classes at either the Moore County Campus or at the McMinnville Center.
