Annual Administrative Professionals’ Day 2007 A Hit!

The annual Administrative Professionals’ Day was a resounding success. A demanding training program, coupled with rigorous participant interaction, and sprinkled with fun was the recipe of the day.
Motlow College President, Dr. MaryLou Apple presented a view from the top regarding the college students of today and their future. She presented statistics and pointed out the critical nature of each person’s responsibility in the advancement and success of our cities, states, and ultimately our nation, through the education of our young people. |

Six area residents recently completed the first Certified Manager of Quality/ Organizational Excellence review course at Motlow College and were presented certificates by Tom Dillingham, standing at left, director of Motlow’s Economic and Community Development Unit, and course instructor Phil Ross, standing at right.

Motlow College Workforce Training instructor Karen Welch Malmquist instructs a one-day Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) course to several participants. Due to many of the students within the Rutherford county area, the class was conducted at MAHLE Filters, in Murfreesboro. FMEA is one of seven AIAG Automotive Quality Management training series of classes Motlow offers to businesses and industries as non-credit training. |
