Embedded Certificate of Credit Degree Checklist

The Computer Programming Certificate of Credit is for students interested in learning basic computer programming and acquire a fundamental understanding of current computer programming languages.

Program Description

Students will acquire a fundamental understanding of current computer programming languages
Students will be introduced to the concept of data structures and sorting techniques

Practical Experience

Increase speed and accuracy in keyboarding
Hands on exposure to basic programming languages including Visual Basic, Java and C#
Exposure to the basic concepts of data types, lists, queues, etc. and other complex structures

Career Opportunities

Our Embedded Certificates of Credit when completed as part of an overall education path toward Associates Degree completion, can qualify students for eventual transfer to any one of Tennessee's four-year college or university programs. Completion of a four-year baccalaureate program prepares you for a career! Entry-level business careers may include:
