6 Way Endowment Funds Live in Perpetuity
Because endowment funds live in perpetuity, Motlow College Foundation will pay tribute to the generosity of its donors by naming endowment funds according to the benefactor's wishes. Endowment income helps bridge the gap between all institutions financial needs and students' and taxpayers' ability to finance those needs.
There are 6 opportunities for investment in named funds for sponsorships of the naming facilities:
From a $500,000 contribution - A building can be named as the donor wishes. Approval for naming a building is contingent upon consent from the Tennessee Board of Regents.
From a $100,000 contribution - A high visibility area such as the nursing complex and wings of buildings can be named as the donor wishes.
From a $50,000 contribution - Specialty complexes such as the reference area in the Learning Center and the Eoff Lobby can be named as donor wishes.
From a $25,000 contribution - Multipurpose rooms, administrative office suites, and student lounges can be named.
From a $15,000 contribution - Laboratories, including computer, engineering, music and various science labs, can be named.
From a $10,000 contribution - Any general classroom on either the Moore County or McMinnville campus can be named.*
*Classrooms on the Fayetteville campus are $25,000 each per the recommendation of the Fayetteville Building Steering Committee.
Naming opportunities allow corporations, individuals and/or families to:
- Exhibit a continued interest in Motlow State, the college serving their community or their corporation specifically:
- Express their love and respect for those who are no longer living; or
- Honor those living whom the benefactor holds in high esteem.
