On December 3, 1992, the Executive Committeeof the Foundation voted to launch a $5 million endowment campaign. To reach this goal, the Foundation utilizes an investment manager, hosts an annual gala, receives benefits from several annual golf tournanents, has offered naming opportunities from $250 for an auditorium seat to $500,000 for a building and plans to organize alumni in the near future.
A million dollar celebration was held on August 23,1995; the Foundation continues the momentum with which to move toward the accomplishment of its $5 million endowment goal.
During l995-96, Trustees approved the spending of interest revenue earned as part of the $5 million campaign for student scholarships. The Executive Committee further established the Presidential Scholalship, which is a two-year scholarship for outstanding high school graduates. As the endowment grows, imagine the impact the endowment revenue will have for Motlow students in years to come!
