Associate of Arts (University Parallel - Area of Emphasis) Degree Checklist

For students seeking to transfer to a four year college in pursuit of an Art degree, Motlow offers the Art degree program. This is a program that includes Studio Art, Graphic Design and Art Education curriculum.
In addition to core academics, this program introduces students to basic courses required for continued study in this field, including the study of:
  • Two Dimensional Design
  • Three Dimensional Design
  • Drawing I and Drawing II which is an introduction to free-hand drawing and then continues with analytical skills, cognitive development, critical skills development, and the exploration of alternative techniques and media
  • Art History
